		<description><![CDATA[Nice article, Taylor. I&#039;m obsessed with the witches when I read/teach &lt;i&gt;Macbeth&lt;/i&gt;! It&#039;s earlier than the Cats etching that you discuss here, but I love thinking about the ways that they&#039;re represented in that play--liminal figures in so many ways--and how they&#039;ve come to be represented in modern renderings. 

Take a gander at this early C20 (if I remember correctly) &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.folger.edu/imgdtl.cfm?imageid=764&amp;cid=398&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;
bas relief sculpture on the facade of the Folger Shakespeare Library&lt;/a&gt; in DC.
